We’ve been here since 1953!
Our History
"The oldest independent tire dealer in the San Fernando Valley”
Hank’s Tire was founded in 1953 in Studio City California. As the population of the valley started to move west, so did Hank’s Tire, occupying three locations prior to arriving at its present Woodland Hills location in 1973.
Hank’s Tire attributes its success to its belief that if we treat our customers the way that we like to be treated, everyone wins. It is this philosophy, as well as our dedicated and knowledgeable staff and our continued investment in state of the art equipment that keeps people coming back to Hank’s Tire year after year. Hank’s Tire is also very proud that we are a AAA approved auto repair facility and that we have achieved a perfect 100% customer satisfaction rating for several years in a row.

Steve Goldberg
Steve Goldberg grew up at Hank’s Tire helping his dad Hank grow the family business. What first started as a way to spend time with his dad has grown to a career as a “tire man”. After attending El Camino Real High School and San Diego State, Steve returned to the valley to start a family of his own and rejoin the business that he had grown to love. Steve has been a member of the Executive’s Association of the San Fernando Valley since 1987. Steve and his family live in nearby Agoura Hills where they are supporters of various community organizations and sports teams.

Hank Goldberg
Henry “Hank” Goldberg left Massachusetts for California in 1950. Hank served in the Marines at Camp Pendleton and in 1953, after being exposed to the tire business by his brother in law, Hank decided to become his own boss and open his own shop. Hank and his wife Riki were married in 1954 and started their family shortly thereafter. Together, Hank and Riki built their business and their standing in the community. Hank and Riki are founding members of Shomrei Torah Synagogue where they have been honored as “Couple of the Year” for their continued support of children’s causes. Hank always has time to tell a story or hand out licorice to adults and kids alike.
